Existing Users ONLY : please note, whichever installation method you use, if you have an earlier version of FlightLog Remote Recorder installed on your mobile device, then you must completely uninstall that earlier version before installing the new version. This is very quick and easy to do ...
1. Tap Start / Settings / System / Remove Programs , then remove any entry for 'FlightLog RR' or similar.
2. Using File Explorer, navigate to the sub-folder 'FlightLogRR' (which can be found one level below the 'Program Files' folder) then delete the 'FlightLogRR' sub-folder and all of its remaining contents.
PRINCIPAL installation method (this installer is compatible with PocketPC 2002, PocketPC/Windows Mobile 2003
and Windows Mobile 5 & 6 devices which have ARM/XScale processors.
It does not currently support Smartphone or .NET devices.)

1. What is the processor (CPU) core type of your mobile device / Pocket PC / PDA ?
Mobile devices are less standardized than personal computers and a variety of CPU core designs are employed within them. This necessitates slight variations in software coding to allow program operation on each CPU type, though the end result is the same in each case. Consequently this means that you must independently identify the mobile device CPU and its core type. Help with this issue is available here : mobile device CPU types but the listing is not exhaustive. You have direct access to Google™ from this website should you wish to perform a search for your mobile device CPU and attempt to identify its core type. Probably the most common core type is the ARM core and this is certainly true when using Windows Mobile operating systems, in which case ARMv4 is suggested as the most likely solution.
