FlightLog Remote Recorder has been designed to be an effective companion for FlightLog Professional & FlightLog Recreational for any pilot who is away from home or at least away from their main personal computer. It operates on Pocket PC and Windows Mobile / CE devices running Pocket PC 2002/2003, Windows CE version 3 and 4 operating systems and should be fully compatible with newer mobile device operating systems such as Windows Mobile 5 and 6. It supports most of the commonly available mobile device processors.

1.Seamless exchange of flight data and supporting data between FlightLog Remote Recorder on your Pocket PC / mobile device and FlightLog Professional or FlightLog Recreational on your home/laptop personal computer via Microsoft ActiveSync® software. Simply connect the two computers, start FlightLog Professional / Recreational on the main PC and press the 'Data Exchange' button in the control & settings window - that's all there is to it. Data exchange has been designed to be as simple as possible and any user, especially with experience of Microsoft ActiveSync®, will find it very easy.
2. Up to 75 flight records may be stored before data exchange/synchronization has to be accomplished and FlightLog Remote Recorder reset to zero.
3. After every data exchange/synchronization the Pocket PC / Windows Mobile device will be updated with a summary report of all your flying to date so that you can always have this available. Similarly, support data such as aircraft registrations, airfields and crew names will be updated so that these are available within FlightLog Remote Recorder to speed up accurate flight data entry.
4. Flight data can be added, edited, saved or deleted as you wish using the intuitive user interface. With a real time UTC display and even information on the currently set timezone daylight saving time - it really doesn't get much easier than this !

IMPORTANT NOTES ...
1. FlightLog Remote Recorder requires version 5.11 or higher of FlightLog Professional or any version of FlightLog Recreational for exchange/synchronization of flight data to be possible.
2. FlightLog Remote Recorder does NOT operate on any mobile devices employing the Palm™ or Symbian operating systems.
3. Software installation and flight data exchange/synchronization have been satisfactorily tested with Microsoft ActiveSync® versions 3.5 and 3.7.1 only but there is no known reason why any version of Microsoft ActiveSync® should not be used, up to and including the most current. Wireless connections have not been tested and are not currently supported however, that is not to say that they will not operate correctly.
